Whose responsibility is it to take care of the dogs and cats in our community? Humans domesticated these animals in the first place and so I, for one, feel that it is our responsibility as humans to do all we can to alleviate the suffering of the abandoned and homeless animals in our community.
There are many people who simply abandon their animals when they no longer want them. For the most part these animals are playthings that when one gets tired of them or doesn't want to pay the feed bills any more the animals are simply cast out into the street to continue to breed and spread disease.
I believe that as an American there really isn't any excuse at all for leaving an animal to fend for himself or herself. Think about the numbers ... figure there are only ten dogs that are out on the streets. These ten dogs havn't been spayed or neutered. In three generations, if we take an average litter to be even as small as three animals (cats OR dogs - and these critters can produce about three generations in one and a half years). In the first generation there will only be around thirty animals, the second generation there will now be ninety animals and by the third generation there will be some 270 animals.
Now, what do you suppose happens to all these unwanted animals? Most will starve to death, many will die at birth and many more will be killed by cars or humans. Is this OK? I don't think so.
What is the solution? First, we must not abandon our own animals and secondly we must attempt to spay and neuter all dogs and cats, puppies and kittens so the over-population stops.
The S.B.P.A. has certificates for free spay and neuter. These certificates are for all those people who cannot afford this operation. For those who can afford to spay and/or neuter their pets the operation here in San Carlos/Guaymas costs very little as compared to the States. Along with the operation the animal will receive a free rabies shot.
Killing these innocent animals is not the solution! Spay and Neuter is the solution. Please help!

¿De quién Responsabilidad Es Él?
¿De quién responsabilidad es para tomar el cuidado de los perros y de los gatos en nuestra comunidad? Los seres humanos domesticaron estos animales en el primer lugar, entonces, se siente que es nuestra responsabilidad hacer todos nosotros para aliviar el sufrimiento de los animales abandonados y sin hogar en nuestra comunidad.
Hay mucha gente que abandona simplemente sus animales cuando los no desea no más. Para la mayor parte estos animales son cosas del juego que, cuando uno consigue cansado de ellos o no desea pagar la alimentación, los animales se van a fuera en la calle para continuar criando y continuar separando enfermedad.
Creo eso, pues un americano allí realmente no es ninguna excusa en todos para dejar un animal para apartar para se o ella misma. Pensar de los números ... calcular eso es solamente diez perros que están hacia fuera en las calles. Eso diez perros no se han esterilizado. En tres generaciones, si tomamos un medio dejar en desorden para ser tan pequeño uniforme como tres animales (gatos O perros - y estos animales pueden producir cerca de tres generaciones en una y una mitad de los años). En la primera generación habrá solamente casi treinta animales; la segunda generación, ahora habrá noventa animales; y por la tercera generación habrá unos 270 animales.
¿Ahora, qué usted supone sucede a todos estos animales indeseados? La mayoría morirán de hambre a la muerte, muchos morirán en el nacimiento, y muchos más serán matados por los coches o los seres humanos. ¿Es esta OK? No pienso tan.
¿Cuál es la solución? Primero, no debemos abandonar nuestros propios animales, y en segundo lugar debemos esterilizar todos los perros y gatos, los perritos y los gatitos así que las paradas de la superpoblación.
La S.B.P.A. tiene certificados para esterilizaciones libres. Estos certificados están para toda esa gente que no pueda pagar para esta operación. Para los que pueden pagar a la esterilizacion de sus animales domésticos la operación aquí en San Carlos/Guaymas cuesta muy poco como comparado a los estados. Con la operación el animal recibirá un vacunación libre de la rabia.
¡Matar a estos animales inocentes no es la solución! Esterilizacion es la solucion. ¡Por favor ayuda!
